next level bodywork training third generation
October 27, 2025

I just completed the third generation of Next Level Bodywork Training with twelve incredible participants from nine different countries: Norway, Dubai, Singapore, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, the UK, and Germany. What a journey it has been, both personally and professionally.

I am always amazed to witness the transformation that unfolds throughout the week. From the first morning, watching how people move their bodies during the shaking, unwinding, and dancing practices, to the final day, when their energy flows freely, their aliveness radiates, and their expression becomes effortless. The sounds, the presence, the embodiment: everything changes. Perhaps next time we’ll take a “before and after” picture.

From Movement to Transformation: The Power of Embodied Learning

The training itself is intense, held within a carefully designed structure that takes participants deep into their process. It is a unique training where I share my way of working, blending different bodywork techniques, kinds of touch, and perspectives rooted in trauma awareness, somatic experiencing, and childhood deconditioning. My intention is to create an experience that is both personally transformative and professionally enriching.

The third day is always the most challenging. It’s the moment when people begin to open, to soften, to show their vulnerability. For me, that’s when the magic begins. It’s also magical to witness participants who start from zero being able, by the end of the week, to lead a session with presence and confidence. Of course, their skill will continue to grow with practice, but the essence is not in the technique. It lies in the capacity to be still, present, and free from agenda.

Our mantra is: Learn the structure, forget the structure, and remember that you are touching a human being.

Curiosity is the key. When we are curious, we ask the right questions, the kind that guide the client to find their own answers, the ones already within. I remind my students to meet their clients where they are, not where they want them to be. To remember that less is more. It’s easy to open a body, but true transformation takes time, and requires deep respect for the rhythm of the nervous system.

And then there’s me. Teaching and sharing, not from a place of perfection but from my humanity. The purpose of this training is not to provide academic knowledge or anatomical theory, but to help participants feel what is needed, connect to their intuition, and learn to work with full presence and intention.

I feel deeply humbled and grateful for this work, and for the magic that continues to be part of my life. This training opened the European season for me with a sense of purpose, reminding me how much I love what I do and how essential it is to my life. I’m also reminded of the importance of balance between my personal life, love, and work. It’s never either/or, but always and…and.

During the final exercise, when we shared what we appreciated about each other, I received a true love shower: for my passion, the love, the patience, the magic, the support, the authenticity, and my embodiment. Many expressed a wish for me to share more of myself, my life, and my experiences. It’s interesting, as I often hold back, thinking people may not be interested. Something to reflect on and to open to.

Our team was a beautiful embodiment of polarity. My main assistant, Giulio, created a strong and safe structure where I could flow freely without losing myself. He brought his vast knowledge, open heart, and deep patience. Haakon, my second assistant from Norway, an exceptional tantric and myofascial release practitioner that offered his full presence and support. Together, the three of us moved in harmony, as if we had always worked together.

Teaching with Presence: A Journey Beyond Technique

I’m already looking forward to the fourth generation of Next Level Bodywork Training and to Level 2, a deeper journey for those who have completed Level 1. I can’t wait to receive the feedback from this group to keep refining and evolving the experience.

And finally, the venue itself is part of the magic: an old Dutch farm in the middle of nature, far from distraction. It’s not a retreat center, but a home filled with soul. Our host, Machteld, nourishes us with her delicious, high-quality meals prepared with so much love and care.
